My Story
Emily joined us from Texas Capital Bank in August 2020. After graduating from Baylor University in 1999, she started her career with Southwest Airlines in the marketing department, focusing on group contract agreements and traveling to promote the brand to new markets. There, she developed a newfound love for travel, negotiation, planning and business development, and brought the “work hard and be nice” culture to each organization along the way over the next 20 years.

After leaving Southwest Airlines, Emily traveled the globe executing successful events for a technology association, then moved on in 2003 to become a top producer with Starwood Hotels & Resorts, where she spent 6 years focusing on relationships with fast-paced vertical markets including corporate/commercial and healthcare/pharmaceutical. Ready to get back on the road in 2008, she joined an agency where she was able to apply her expertise in planning, purchasing and contract negotiation to execute projects on behalf of multinational pharmaceutical companies. Emily became the face of the company with regard to worldwide supplier relationships while gaining global logistics experience, and quickly made a name for herself in the industry. She became an invaluable asset to the agency’s business development efforts, and in 2009 was recruited to join MCI, one of the largest 3rd party agencies, as Director of Purchasing, Contracts and Business Development. At MCI, Emily led teams of planning and operations managers overseeing workflow, quality control and supplier volume relationships. In support of overall client acquisition and retention efforts, she played a lead role for the business development team delivering creative project design, costing and overall profitability.
In 2013, Emily was recruited by Texas Capital Bank because of her well-rounded experience in business development, internal/external relationships, and project management & marketing. Over the next seven years, the team grew from two people wearing many hats to a world-class Business Development & Marketing group of 15+, directly aligned with Strategic Sales and supporting the bank’s Relationship Managers in their efforts across verticals in all markets.
Emily lives in Dallas with her two teenage boys and two dogs. She is an avid yogi and lover of fine arts, and in her spare time also enjoys traveling, cooking, and entertaining her friends & family.
