Machine Shop:
This company is a 100% women-and minority-owned manufacturing facility that specializes in high-volume production runs and prototype manufacturing in the energy, aerospace, and automotive industries.

The company faced a difficult period following the passing of its patriarch. The co-founder and wife of the former CEO, seeking to address issues of high overhead costs and a lack of budgeting, brought their two daughters into leadership roles to navigate through the transition.

With these three women at the helm of leadership, the machine shop is flourishing!

Roofing Company:
This business owner started off in insurance, but after marrying she realized the potential of her husband’s construction business. So, harnessing her team management and leadership skills, she steadily grew the roofing company into a multi-million dollar business it is today!

The company hit a hiccup in 2022 and that’s where Flatbay Capital jumped in. We worked directly with the CEO and made sure she got the working capital she needed.

The company is currently thriving in the Austin area!

Furniture Store:
A dream that started out of a truck grew into one of the best known furniture stores in the hispanic community. The co-founder is an immigrant from Ecuador and she and her husband started a furniture business from scratch. The company has been operating successfully for over 40 years!

Due to COVID-19, they were not able to secure bank funding for a project, so they turned to Flatbay Capital.

Today, the co-founder and her husband continue to be a part of their growing empire and will one day pass the torch to their children.
