Patrick Cadle is a SVP of Business Development and a Loan Originator at Flatbay Capital, where he facilitates 1st lien, owner-occupied commercial real estate bridge loans for operating companies. He works with Special Assets Groups across the Southeast, as well as commercial bankers and real estate brokers throughout Florida, with a focus on the Space Coast, Jacksonville, Tampa and Miami markets.

Prior to joining Flatbay Capital, Patrick was an owner/operator within a family office environment at Smoot Investments, where he focused on nationwide credit investing, loan servicing, and complex debt recovery strategies. He was actively involved in acquiring and managing distressed and transitional credit portfolios, with a focus on maximizing recovery outcomes and structuring practical resolutions across a range of asset classes.

Patrick also serves as a Director at Guaranty Bank and holds an active real estate license. His background across private credit, banking, and real estate provides a well-rounded, credit-driven perspective when evaluating and structuring opportunities that fall outside conventional lending parameters.

Patrick lives in the Waterford Lakes area of Orlando with his wife and three children. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time on the water, participating in extreme sports such as dirt biking and snowboarding, coaching youth sports, and honoring God. He values discipline, consistency, and being present with his family, and brings an energetic, relationship-driven approach to both his professional and personal life.
