Barbara is an accountant by trade and a homemaker, wife, and mother. She graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a B.A. in Economics/Accounting in 2001 and has worked in a variety of bookkeeping and accounting capacities for the past twenty years. These positions have ranged from Accounting Manager, various Staff Accountant positions, tax work, and volunteer work as Treasurer in multiple organizations. She has worked in manufacturing, the financial service/tax preparation industry, as a professional temp in a variety of organizations, and now proudly with the dynamic Flatbay team. She has always accepted roles that align with her family's needs and capture her interests.

Barbara enjoys translating financial data into easily digestible information allowing anyone she works with to make sound financial decisions based on timely, accurate feedback.

In her spare time, Barbara enjoys being a karate and hockey Mom, playing Scrabble, reading, and doing cardio kickboxing. She is also a strong advocate for her daughter who has type 1 diabetes.
